![]() Taking pictures of a large family can be difficult and take a lot of time if you are not prepared. I had a blast taking this fun family's pictures, The family ended up having a great time too! When photographing a large family, it is best to do so earlier in the day, especially if there are young children involved. Everyone is usually fresh and rested when conducting a session in the morning. This client really wanted a large family picture so I made sure I took the group picture first, then I took this kids pictures, and then individual families next. When photographing young children, I have been more successful when I don't force the child to pose, but get them in a more natural setting.

![]() A recent challenge was to photograph the same object everyday. This decorative birdhouse is my object. It lives on the table by my front entrance. ![]() Monday's challenge is to photograph my object from above. Got on a step stool and took a shot of the top of my birdhouse. ![]() Picture of my object from below. Instead of turning the birdhouse upside down. I laid down on the floor and took a picture looking up at it. ![]() This is a great close up of my object. You can see the details of the color and wood. I love the rustic chic look. |
AuthorI love to capture those special moments in people's lives through photography. I am constantly looking at a scene and thinking how could that work in a photo session, or what angle would work to capture the beauty that God has blessed us with. Archives
