![]() I recently had a photo shoot for a special little one year old. I wanted to have a choice of background as well as easy change over. I bought a sheet of 4x4 plywood, one strip of white baseboard trim and some paint. I painted one side a light blue, and the other side a deep red. The theme was sock monkey with white, blue and red. I then had my husband cut the baseboard trim to fit the 4x4 board. I took plastic clamps to clip the white baseboard to the bottom to make the painted board look more like a wall. By clamping the trim, I could take it off, turn the board around to the other side, and clamp on the trim. This made it easy and very versatile. You can see this looks like a wall instead of a sheet of painted plywood leaned up against the wall. I used an old small wooden ladder with some props from the theme to create the perfect background.

AuthorI love to capture those special moments in people's lives through photography. I am constantly looking at a scene and thinking how could that work in a photo session, or what angle would work to capture the beauty that God has blessed us with. Archives
