I love this time of year because most of my clients are families. I love meeting and working with new clients as well as ones I have worked with before. One of my favorite new spots for pictures, is Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. Arbor Hills is a 200-acre park located on the western border of Plano featuring walking and jogging trails, playground and even has restrooms. I had a family session there a couple of weeks ago with a sweet family of five I met last year. We had lots of fun taking pictures on the bridge, in front of a stone wall and down by the pond and creek. We have even made plans to go back next spring and take some family shots in the creek water. If you have not been to Arbor Hills, take the time to go and spend the day exploring the trails.

![]() So excited to be participating as a volunteer photographer for the PMDA Portraits of Love. This organization has put together a network of photographers who have agreed to donate their time from December 1, 2014 through February 28, 2015 to take a free portrait of their families whose loved one is serving our country in the military. If you have a family member, or know of a family who has a family member currently serving in the military, visit the Portraits of Love - Military Families website to sign up to receive your free family portrait to share with your loved one serving our country. One of the sponsors is Shutterfly that is offering a place on their site to load the pictures so loved ones can view who are not able to be with their families during the holidays. |
AuthorI love to capture those special moments in people's lives through photography. I am constantly looking at a scene and thinking how could that work in a photo session, or what angle would work to capture the beauty that God has blessed us with. Archives
