It seems our little Elf "boy" had a rolling good time with the toilet paper... The whole theory of the Elf on the Shelf is that his magic allows him to fly back and forth to the North Pole to report if you have been good or bad. Because he is magic, you are not supposed to touch him, or he will lose his magic and disappear. This whole theory seems to escape my 3 year old grandson. The first day he saw the Elf he wanted to touch it. He even said "I want to touch him so he cannot fly away." I guess he thinks he has been bad and does not want the Elf reporting back to Santa. Today he rolled up the toilet paper the Elf had scattered, and brought it and the Elf to his mother. I think the whole magic concept escapes him, or he is trying to cover up his not so good behavior. Not sure which yet... Anyone else have this problem? I think I will have to start putting the Elf in higher places.
I love to capture those special moments in people's lives through photography. I am constantly looking at a scene and thinking how could that work in a photo session, or what angle would work to capture the beauty that God has blessed us with.
